Customer's need

Bakers working with traditional rattan rising baskets noticed that they were difficult to clean over time, which could therefore also lead to susceptibility to mold. In addition, there was a need for a practical and sustainable alternative that is not only more hygienic, but also can be used flexibly for different bread sizes. Some bakers also wanted their own logo visible on the bread, something that was not always possible with standard baskets.

Our solution

Erbivo developed an innovative blue rice basket that replaces the traditional rattan basket. The basket is made of hygienic, low-maintenance material, easy to clean and resistant to moisture. The accompanying cloth offers additional benefits:

Possibility of personalization with, for example, the logo to subtly convey this in the baked bread
Cloth is washable at 30°, ensuring optimal hygiene
